When you’re in pain and struggling with mobility because of an illness or injury, you need a physical therapist who understands your condition and gives you their full attention. You’ll find that here at Carson Valley Health (CVH). Our knowledgeable and compassionate physical therapists provide one-on-one care that’s specifically designed to address your unique needs.
Whether you receive physical therapy as an inpatient or an outpatient, you can expect our team to care for you as an individual and to take the time to understand your needs and help you heal.
Our physical therapy services
Our physical therapists are trained in many treatment methods, including hands-on techniques, like soft-tissue mobilization and manual therapy, and specific exercises to improve strength and function. We provide this care in our state-of-the-art treatment rooms and our well-equipped gym.
Our areas of expertise include:
● Neurological rehabilitation.
● Pediatric physical therapy.
● Pelvic floor rehabilitation
● Post-surgery rehabilitation.
● Spinal rehabilitation.
Your physical therapist will devise a personalized treatment program for you with the help of your physician’s physical therapy prescription.
During your first visit, your physical therapist will assess your endurance, flexibility, muscle strength and tone, and reflexes. Based on this assessment, your therapist will design a thorough treatment plan to help you meet your needs and goals for recovery. We’ll update your program as you progress through therapy.
