At Carson Valley Health, we’re working to lessen the impact of heart disease on our community by providing exceptional care close to home. We understand that a healthy heart allows you to enjoy your best quality of life. That’s why we employ skilled cardiologists who offer state-of-the-art cardiac treatments for you and your loved ones. Our team of full time, dedicated cardiology providers is accepting new patients.
Whether you need a compassionate expert to help you make heart-healthy lifestyle changes or a special procedure for your heart, we can help you right here.
If you or a loved one has chest pains and/or difficulty breathing, don’t panic. Call 911 for an ambulance and do not drive yourself or someone else experiencing these symptoms, as the paramedics can provide life-saving care en route to the emergency department.
Our highly trained, board-certified cardiologists evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of heart conditions and the problems that can lead to them, including:
● Coronary artery disease.
● Heart failure.
● Blood clots.
● Atrial fibrillation.
● High blood pressure.
● Cholesterol problems.
To begin your heart-health journey, you can schedule an appointment and consult with one of our cardiologists and advanced practice providers. We offer convenient access to these cardiovascular care professionals at CVH Cardiology in Gardnerville.
A highlight of our cardiology program is our hybrid cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology lab, starting Fall 2024 as part of CVH’s multimillion-dollar expansion project. This state-of-the-art facility is staffed and equipped to diagnose and treat problems with the heart’s blood supply or rhythm without surgery.
Interventional cardiologists and other experts who work in the cath lab perform minimally invasive procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, ablations, pacemaker implants, and peripheral artery and vein repair. This means you don’t have to travel far from home and your loved ones when you need an advanced cardiac test or procedure.
We look forward to offering cardiac rehab care in the future.
Our cardiology team provides a variety of tests that can check the health of your heart and help decide what kind of treatment you may need, including:
