If you need infusion therapy, you can count on quality care from the highly skilled and caring team at Carson Valley Health (CVH).
We provide outpatient infusion services seven days a week for those who need chemotherapy or other infusion treatments. Cancer, blood disorders, autoimmune disorders and infections are a few of the conditions we treat.
Our specially trained staff includes certified oncology nurses. They are compassionate, friendly and proud to provide infusion care at the highest quality level for our community.
Infusion center services
We offer a variety of services that your hematologist-oncologist or other physician may order, including:
● Chemotherapy.
● Blood and blood product transfusions.
● IV pharmaceutical therapy, such as antibiotics or other medicines.
● Hydration therapy (fluid replacement).
● Central line care and maintenance.
We focus on your comfort and convenience
Our infusion center is located next to CVH Cancer Care in Gardnerville. Our facility has nine treatment chairs, with shared and private spaces available. It is easy to schedule your infusion treatments when you need them, as we always do our best to accommodate your needs.
While you are receiving therapy, you can relax in a fully reclining treatment chair. We will provide you with a warm blanket if you want. Many people choose to watch TV, stream a movie on one of our iPads, listen to satellite radio, use our Wi-Fi and enjoy complimentary food and beverages.
Pediatric infusion care
We offer infusion services to even the littlest of patients, including those with childhood cancers. For their comfort, we offer a private pediatric room filled with toys, games and activities kids can enjoy while they are here.
