CVH Tuition Reimbursement Program

At Carson Valley Health, we highly value continuing education. To ensure our nurses achieve their highest career ambitions and ensure our patients receive the best in care, CVH offers nursing tuition reimbursement.

For our nurses, the CVH tuition reimbursement program helps nurses with the cost of acquiring additional skills, training, certifications and/or advanced degrees.

Nurses play a large role in their treatment and care for our patients, often carrying out doctors’ orders. Highly trained nurses improve patient outcomes and postoperative complications are reduced. Our patients also enjoy continuity of care throughout their lifetimes when nurses are allowed to pursue higher education where they are currently employed.

Tuition Reimbursement

Full/Part-Time Employees are eligible to participate in the Tuition Reimbursement Program, beginning the first of the month, following 30 days of employment.

The following programs qualify for reimbursement:

  • Associate, Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate degrees
  • Individual courses (college-level and applicable toward a degree or professional certification)
  • Professional certifications

Tuition Reimbursed:

100% of tuition and eligible fees will be covered under the program, subject to the following:

  • Maximum of $4,000 for full-time employees per calendar year per employee
  • Maximum of $1,500 for part-time employees per calendar year per employee
